Stephanie Hower Derheimer is a Portland-based maker of quilts, art, illustrations, messes, and snacks. She believes in the power of public art, both as a quilter whose work has been on display in Powell's books and other venues. Originally trained as a classical singer, this “indoor kid” has been a doodler, crafter, writer, poet, and performer for as long as anyone can remember.
